The same kitchen as the other comics, after closing time. You go home, but the chef stays in the back room with the lights low: quiet as long as all is well, on the phone the moment it is not.

1 The chef in the back room

Close the window and the app stays on, in the system tray: a chef in the back room. Start and stop projects and cooks from the tray menu, and search from there too.

It starts when you sign in, straight to the tray, so the notifications arrive even on a day you never open the app.

And it calls when it matters: a crash, an unhealthy cook, a lost network or port, a cook at their memory limit, or in a swarm a node that goes down or a service below its count.

2 Only when it matters

Never for a cook you sent home yourself. Stopping one from the app, the terminal or compose down stays quiet.

Want quiet about one cook? Switch their notifications off. They still go in the book, greyed out, so you can always read back what happened.

Once a week it cleans up: untagged images and build cache. Never volumes, never tagged images. A notification says how much it freed.

3 Your kitchen, your way

It keeps itself up to date: the Windows installer and the Linux AppImage check for a new version and download it in advance.

Five languages: English, Nederlands, Deutsch, Français and Español, with container and volume left in English. Light or dark with one switch, and your filters are still there tomorrow.

In Docker Client MX: quiet in the tray, loud when it matters, tidy once a week, and up to date by itself.
